Bellamy Cemetery is in Washington Township Section 5 Township 74 Range 20 in the 800 block of Quebec Street, about 4 miles south of the Hwy. 92 bypass and the Hwy. 14 intersection, then 2 1/2 miles west or 4 miles northeast of Melcher-Dallas. The parcel number is 242690000.

This small site, fenced with wooden boards, has two gravestones: Jane Bellamy, 1864; and Jesse Bellamy, 1886. The 1976 Marion County Cemetery Book has two facts wrong: Jesse was in the War of 1812, not the Civil War, and he was born in 1791, not 1807. The gravestone has the right date.

The cemetery is in a yard surrounded with farm equipment just inside and above the road right of way, not easily visible. The Peterson family worked on this cemetery in 2014, re-fencing it.
