​Buwalda Cemetery is located in Lake Prairie Township Section 29 Township 77 Range 18. The address is 545 210th Avenue, Pella. The parcel number is 1352300100.

 

This small, family plot with a new ornamental iron fence is 1 1/2 miles north of Old Hwy. 163, west of Pella. Seven marked burials of the Buwalda, Dykstra, and Jonker families are present. This was formerly known as the Pol farm and is currently owned by Alex Ebert.  The cemetery is located just north of the house.

 

One mile south on 210th Avenue, on the Mike and Amber Dugger farm, were located the Buwalda Coal Mines at the turn of the last century.
