Spurgeon Cemetery is located in Pleasant Grove Township Section 26 Township77 Range 21 in the 500 block of Erbe Street. This is 400 feet east of 50th Place, which is 3 miles north and 1 mile east of Pleasantville. 

 

Overlooking the back waters of Lake Red Rock, this cemetery might rival Hughes and Teter for the most beautiful cemetery site in the county. A 400-foot drive past an overhead sign leads to about 150 gravestones. There have been 30 burials here since 1962.
