MARION COUNTY PIONEER CEMETERY COMMISSION
STANFORD DOUD CEMETERY
Stanford Doud Cemetery is located in Liberty Township Section 2 Township 74 Range 18, in the 2300 block of Reagan Street, Bussey, about four miles north, east, north, and then west of Bussey. The parcel number is 1746100200.

This cemetery is a small site along the road and was fenced and restored by the Doud descendants 40 years ago. It is a memorial to Stanford Doud, a Marion County pioneer who was a farmer and surveyor and who platted several early towns in the county. He joined the California Gold Rush in 1850.

He was the father of 33 children, all single births, between 1827-1877. Many of the 18 stones are newer stones set at the time of restoration.
