Whitlatch Cemetery is in Washington Township Section 35 Township 74 Range 20, and is located 1/4 mile north and 1/4 mile west of 2449 118th Avenue (or 1/4 mile south of 1165 Virginia Street), a little east of Columbia. The parcel number is 2421600100.​

The cemetery is in a rather low spot for a pioneer cemetery and is named for Noah Whitlatch, one of approximately 30 burials here. Perhaps the easiest access is from the north side of a field owned by Wayne Roush from Denison, Iowa.

The cemetery is surrounded on the west, south, and east sides by a field owned by Raymond and Bertha Klein. Contact them at (641) 943-2309. Their farm lies to the south.
